We usually say that Earth is our home, our habitat, our native planet and so on. But what have we done to save and maintain it? Our common life couse polution, littering, greenhouse effect, animal extinction. So we mostly damage Earth‘s surfase and atmosphere.
The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun. Without these gases, heat would escape back into space and Earth’s average temperature would be about 60ºF colder. Because of how they warm our world, these gases are referred to as greenhouse gases.
Whenever we use the Air Conditioner, ride in a Car, microwave a Meal or when factories make the things that we buy and use everyday we are helping to send greenhouse gas into the air.
Planting trees is a great way to reduce greenhouse gases. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, from the air.
