My Best Teacher
I remember my days in the primary school. My first day, my first lesson in the school has remained in my memory very well. It was early morning of 1 September in 1995. My parents accompanied me to my new school. I was terrified in that big building, I didn’t know anyone. I had no friends in my new school, because I hadn’t ever been to the kindergarden. I remember very well when I came to my first classroom. It was very big and full of pictures, books and strangers. My mother gave me a pen and a pencil and I sat into my first desk. My little heart was beating very hard and I didn’t know what to expect. Moreover, one more thing I remember very well is one boy, who came and sat in my desk. Now I cannot remember who he was. Soon my first teacher came in. She was very nice and sweet. Her name is Dalia Normantienė.
I think that my primary school days were most cheerful and most careless days in my whole life. Then I was going to school willingly. Soon all the children in the class became good friends. When we asked our teacher to teach us a new game, she would summon us into a circle and start to teach. She was a very good teacher and the four years when she was our teacher were probably the best years in school. We were playing a lot of games, performing in merry plays, drawing. Our teacher was very good at arts. Now we have to learn more, teachers give us a lot of homeworks and so on. When you are seven years old you don’t have to learn mathematics the whole day, you just need to know that 2×2=4.
