The automobile wasn’t invented of one inventor not in one day.
When the people invented machines and engines they used them in industry. In old times people drived, rides carriages which was pulled by horses. People want to crate the carriage, which drive by self. Than people don’t have to worry about horses.
The first car was invented not In one day , in a single inventor. In 1769 , the engineer of France Nicolas Joseph Cugnot invented military tractor. He used steam engine. It was used by the French Army to haul artillery. The following year 1770, Cugnot built a steam-powered tricycle that carried four passengers. The following year (1770), Cugnot built a steam-powered tricycle that carried four passengers.
Steam engines were not the only engines used in early automobiles. Vehicles with electrical engines were also invented. Between 1832 and 1839 Robert Anderson of Scotland invented the first electric carriage. The vehicles were heavy, slow, expensive, and needed to stop for recharging frequently. Electricity found greater success in tramways and streetcars.
The History of cars :
• 1680 – Dutch physicist, Christian Huygens designed an internal combustion engine that was to be fueled with gunpowder.
• 1807 – Francois Isaac de Rivaz of Switzerland invented engine that used a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen for fuel.
• 1824 – English engineer, Samuel Brown used steam engine which burn gas.
• 1858 – Belgian-born engineer, Jean Joseph Étienne Lenoir invented and patented (1860) a double-acting, electric spark-ignition internal combustion engine fueled by coal gas.
• 1862 – Alphonse Beau de Rochas, a French civil engineer, patented but did not build a four-stroke engine .
